Get KCP! #Lakers fans are pissed with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for his lackluster play, not just wanting him out of the game, but out of LA, off the team

The 2010s began on a high note for the Lakers, with Kobe Bryant leading them to their second straight championship. Few would have guessed how bad things would become. Trading places with the Clippers, Laker fans have been extremely patient.

Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball were the core set to lead the Lakers back to prominence. Last summer, LeBron James changed that, when he signed with them. A move set to make the Lakers championship contenders saw them miss the playoffs for the sixth straight year.

Laker fans are in an unusual position, as the team is futile, going through an opening night loss to the Clippers. Tonight, they have a winnable game against the Utah Jazz, but they are blaming Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for blowing it. On Twitter, they are blasting him with “Get KCP” trending, as they want him out of the city of Los Angeles, period.
