Social JuiceBox: Fans criticize yet hilariously congratulate Jimmy Garoppolo on his win, even though he threw for less than 100 yards; Didn’t have to do much with the excellent running game by Raheem Mostert #GoNiners

If you would have told me that a super bowl bound quarterback would throw less than a 100 yards in an NFC championship game, I’d say he probably lost that game. However that was the case for Jimmy Garoppolo when he thew for only 77 yards in the 49ers’ win over the Green Bay Packers. He didn’t need to do much thanks running back Raheem Mostert’s four touchdown performance on the day. The Packers did not have an answer for the niners running game, so why deviate from it?

Now fans are having a good laugh fake congratulating Jimmy G on the “amazing” performance he personally put in towards the victory. Other are taking this showing as an opportunity to compare his to Tom Brady, calling him the next great systems quarter back.
